Blasted Church Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, Okanagan Valley, BC
Readers rated this wine:
Tangy, textural, savoury.
Blasted Church was established in Okanagan falls 20 years ago. It was named for a mining camp church which was torn down (with the help of explosives) and rehomed to the Falls in 1929. The labels tell many colourful stories. This Cabernet, which is part of the Renaissance tier offers dark chocolate and tart red berry, plum, tobacco, toasted spice and earthy aromas. The entry is fresh; flavours of red bruits, pencil shavings, tobacco and leather dominate the palate. It's a textural medium+ bodied red. *Image shown is not correct label. ©copyright 2023 Daenna Van Mulligen
