Muscular, savoury, fresh..
Dead of Nightis a blend of Tannat (Madiran's tannic red variety) and Syrah, both from the South Okanagan and if you've had this wine before, there are no surprises.
Expect smoked plums and cocoa, roasted coffee beans and toasted spice with undertones of grilling meat. It's fresh off the top and becomes more grippy mid-palate. Restrained black fruit is layered with spice, toasted oak and dark mocha. It's a muscular wine, brooding and savoury that will pair well with BBQ, roast, hard cheeses and game meats.
