Clos du Soleil's estate Celestiale red, is a blend of 56% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc, 12% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot. It was matured for 15 months in French oak.
Fragrant purple berries, vanilla, licorice, cedar, violets and perfumed exotic spice aromas lead to a supple palate. Flavours of chocolate and espresso, brown spices and high-toned purple berries abound. Notable freshness and structure with a long smooth finish.
Pair: Hearty pasta dishes, aged cheeses, grilled meats and roasted root vegetables.
