Gerard Bertrand 'Cote des Roses Blanc', Languedoc France
Readers rated this wine:
Structure, freshness, restraint.
Here is a stunning bottle with a pretty glass stopper filled with a blend of Grenache, Vermentino and Viognier.
Lemon grass and hay, beeswax, pine oil, wet stone and dried wildflower aromas lead to a juicy, citrusy palate. Unripe quince, starfruit and lemon peel flavours speak to the palate. Its a definitive food wine, restrained and fresh with some serious structure and texture for a white. Pair with white meats, seafood, spaghetti tossed with EVOO and pecorino... ©copyright 2021 Daenna Van Mulligen
