Decero Malbec, Remolinos Vineyard, Agrelo, Mendoza, Argentina
Readers rated this wine:
Supple, plush, polished.
This single 1050m high Remolinos Vineyard is a special site, which is owned by Decero, and located in the sub-appellation of Agrelo, in Mendoza.
Always succulent, this vintage was aged for 14 months in French oak. The nose is plush and chocolaty with undertones of Turkish coffee, vanilla liqueur, sweet spices, black plums and cherry. The palate is equally decadent. Generous fruit, leather, mocha, baking spices and vanilla echo the nose. It has polished tannins and a supple, rich finish.
A wine for BBQ, hearty proteins and grilled mushrooms.
