Juicy, value, perfumed.
While this wine has always been awesome value, the 2019 vintage is the best yet. It is intensely perfumed with violets and sweet black raspberries, vanilla, baking spices and cedar with vague meaty/bacon fat undertones. The attack is juicy, high-toned purple berry flavours are melded with oak spice and vanilla flavours. Smooth and very quaffable.
Pair: hearty stews, roasted mushrooms and hard cheeses.
