A crowd favourite, the approachable Wente offers notes of grilled lemon peel, burnt sugar, coriander, toasted spice and yellow apples. Spiced caramel and lemons, roasted pecan and vague herbal notes describe the palate. It has weight and balance and a toasty finish.
Pair: jalapeno cornbread, chicken salad, grilled smoked gouda panini or creamy pastas.
