Fleshy, supple, generous.
An inky ruby shade with fragrant purple berries, cracked black pepper, vanilla, violets, toasted spices, fresh earth and grilled wild herbs aromas. It has a salty/umami character with plenty of spice, blackberry, dark chocolate and espresso flavours. Savoury, supple and generous, it's a consistently excellent wine.
Pair: grilled or roasted meats, mushroom and thyme stuffed ravioli.

It has a supple entry with wild red berries, black chocolate and espresso, toasted spice and charred herbal flavours. A savoury red with a smooth persistent finish.
Pair: grilled or roasted meats, mushroom and thyme stuffed ravioli.

Expressive, juicy, firm.
New look!
A consistently excellent wine; blackberries and plums, mocha and dried violets, brown spices and fleur de sel aromas are expressed. It is fresh with a juicy palate; lively berry fruits, coffee and cocoa and spice flavours dominate. Polished tannins, and good balance with notable firmness on the finish--benefits from decanting.
Pair: grilled or roasted meats, mushroom and thyme stuffed ravioli.

Substantial, brooding, muscular.
There is an awesome new label on this wine, very elegant (but not shown in this photo).
The wine itself is brooding and intense; espresso, wild berry preserves, peppery spices, grilled meat and charred herbs with leather and tobacco undertones. It is a powerful wine, well represented by its label, it has a muscular character and leans more into the red berry profile on the palate. Substantial and intense but balanced.
Pair: grilled or roasted meats, mushroom and thyme stuffed ravioli.

Expressive, outstanding, concentrated.
An outstanding vintage on this wine, it's much more expressive than the previous one. Expect sweet cherry and blackberry compote, vanilla, licorice, baking spices, mocha and earthy/herbal undertones. It is lively and concentrated, juicy and generous. Overall, great balance and elegance.
Pair: grilled or roasted meats, mushroom and thyme stuffed ravioli.
