Santa Carolina 'Carolina' Sauvignon Blanc Reserva, Leyda Chile
Readers rated this wine:
Value, tangy, zesty.
A well-priced and zesty Savvy from the Leyda Valley; a cool region close to the pacific ocean with morning fog and poor, shallow soils on its rolling hills.
This wine exhibits those cool qualities offering jalapeno, nettle, white flowers and gooseberry with green apples, white peach and a hint of honey. It is verdant and tangy in the mouth as well; grassy and zesty with overall good concentration and crunchy orchard fruits linger on a mouthwatering finish.
Pair: Goat cheeses, ceviche, summer salads, herb omelets, and spring vegetables.

Readers rated this wine:
Value, tangy, fresh.
The newish D.O (designated appellation) of Leyda Valley is a cool region close to the pacific ocean with morning fog and poor, shallow soils on its rolling hills.
It has a wonderfully fresh nose of gooseberry and nettle, elderflower and grass clippings, lemon and grapefruit. The palate is tangy with racy acidity and the tropical fruit is brightened with citrus and sweet herbs.
Pair: Goat cheeses, ceviche, summer salads, herb omelets, and spring vegetables.
