Delicious, expressive, zesty.
A deliciously consistent crowd favourite, the fresh and fragrant Wente delivers orange sorbet and vanilla, lemon meringue, melon and honeysuckle with hints of hazelnuts and spice. The palate has an invigorating character with nutty, buttery undertones layered with yellow fruits and spice. Slick and expressive and balanced with a nice long finish.

Always engaging and fragrant, the 2021 version of the Wente family's estate Cabernet Sauvignon stays true. Bright cassis and plum jam aromas are woven with vanilla, mint, baking spice and leather underscored by purple flowers, licorice and pipe tobacco. It's a smooth yet juicy wine that is seamless and tasty. Generous purple flavours are woven with spice and vanilla and it has nice persistence.
