JoieFarm 'A Noble Blend', Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Fragrant, persistent, pristine.
Made from Gewurztraminer with Riesling, Pinot Auxerrois, Muscat and Pinot Blanc and laden with liberal fruit; think stone fruits, green apples and a suggestion of tropical fruits and citrus layered with honey and spring blossoms. These past few vintages seem drier than earlier examples and this one is fresh, juicy and has hints of saline/savoury notes. A persistent finish has some phenolic grip.
Pair: pate, strong cheeses, spicy dishes and pork dishes.

Readers rated this wine:
Tangy, zesty, restrained.
I tasted this vintage blend of Gewurztraminer with Riesling, Pinot Auxerrois, Muscat and Pinot Blanc alongside the 2018 version and this one leaned to honeyed with warm peach and apricot aromas woven with mineral/saline and citrus notes. Tangy and zesty, more restrained and lean than the 2018, it had focus and precision, snappy green apple flavours and a long mouthwatering finish.
Pair: pate, strong cheeses, spicy dishes and pork dishes.

Readers rated this wine:
Fragrant, concentrated, pristine.
Made from Gewurztraminer with Riesling, Pinot Auxerrois and Pinot Blanc new 2016 is as expected, fragrant. Pristine aromas of lychee and peaches, crisp green apples and lemon oil with spring blossoms are grounded with forest floor/compost notes at the core. The palate is a genuine mimic of the nose; tangy and fruity flavours are wonderfully woven across the palate, and it seems to me to be slightly drier than previous vintages, which is appreciated.
Pair: pate, strong cheeses, spicy dishes and pork dishes.

Readers rated this wine:
Pretty, zesty, purity.
It's been a few years since tasting this delightfully fragrant blend of Gewurztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Auxerois, Pinot Blanc and Muscat and it doesn't disappoint. Notes of honey and stonefruits, lychee and rose oil, pink grapefruit and spice lead to a slick and off-dry palate. It's wonderfully balanced and has loads of character, purity and exotic flavours. The finish is zesty and mouthwatering.
Pair: pate, strong cheeses, spicy dishes and pork dishes.

JoieFarm 'En Famille' Reserve Pinot Noir, Okanagan Valley
Readers rated this wine:
In a nod to the lesser known appellations of Burgundy (such as Fixin, Santenay and Mercurey) this reserve Pinot was chosen from the best barrels, harvested from the Naramata Bench, Skaha Bench and Summerland.
Expect tart red fruit on the nose; cranberries, red cherry, pomegranate with lilac, star anise, savoury spice mix with rainforest floor notes, notably wet cedar. The texture is silky and here the flavours are well-integrated; peppery spices, red fruit and cedar culminate in a smooth finish.
Very chic.
Pair with wild mushrooms, fresh salmon, duck, turkey and roasted fall vegetables such as pumpkin, sweet potato and beet.

JoieFarm Gamay, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:
Charming, silky, bouncy.
Made entirely from Naramata Bench berries from the Deep Roots Vineyard. JoieFarm is one of BC's best when it comes to a Gamay made as an homage to those of Beaujolais.
The aromas here are: sweet black tea, sun-warmed raspberries, star anise, vanilla, cocoa, dried violets and botanical. Bouncy and precise, lively and charming with a silky texture.
Benefits from a brief chill the fridge for 10, before pouring.

JoieFarm Muscat, Okanagan Valley BC
Readers rated this wine:

This glorious Muscat is wonderfully fragrant and is my favourite of the JoieFarm portfolio.
It's pale straw in colour with the extraordinary scents of lavender soap, ginger, rose petals and lychee, white grapes and orange zest. It attacks your palate with white nectarine, grapefruit peel, lavender pastilles and star anise. It boasts an oily texture, has a whisper of sweetness, amazing concentration and a potent and lengthy finish.
Pristine. Made from Moscato Giallo and Moscato Canelli both grown on the Naramata Bench.

JoieFarm Muscat, Okanagan Valley BC, 2011
Readers rated this wine:

This dry Muscat, wonderfully floral and fragrant - has become my favourite Joiefarm wine...
It's pale straw in colour with a pinkinsh tinge and features lovely grapey aromas layered with apples, orchard blossoms, honey, tangerine peel and juicy limes. The palate is immaculate - mouthwatering flavours echo the aromas and the finish leaves behind traces of tangerine peel and apricot.
I generally offer food pairing suggestions, but this I want to drink all on its own.

Peach, honeyed, concentrated.
This is not your typical BC Riesling - JoieFarm heads down a different path with a slightly oxidative character.
Expect a deeper golden colour and notes of peach jam, honey, bread dough, apple sauce, white blossoms and orange peel. The palate is rich and honeyed with a creamy texture and impressive concentration (as always) The finish is sweet and long with a somewhat phenolic texture.
