Supple, generous, pleasing.
Paso Robles is a more southerly California winemaking region, it's located inland in San Luis Obispo County, half way between San Fransisco and Los Angeles.
This Cabernet is a crowd-pleaser but it also boasts good Cabernet character. Expect aromas of black cherry and black currents, leather, chocolate and pipe tobacco with espresso. It is fresh with expressive fruit and good balance. Supple in weight, generous in character with ripe but slightly textural tannins to add chew.
Perfect for watching the game or pair with burgers, chili or anything you can throw on the grill.

Value, smooth, modern.
A value Cabernet (blended with splashes of Petire Sirah and Petit Verdot) with aromas of currents, plums and cherries, sarsaparilla, coconut and chocolate. The palate echoes the nose, it is a modern crowd-pleaser with flavours of cherry cola.
Smooth approachable and priced for a party.

Value, zesty, slick.
This value California white is a straightforward wine with notes of Asian pears and pineapple, vanilla and musky floral notes. The palate is slick and fruity with a zesty backbone and dry pithy finish. A good daily wine for sipping or meals.

Supple, complete, stylish.
Martini's Napa Cabernet is a distinctly complete wine -- consistently.
Cassis, mocha, black plus, pencil shavings and lilac aromas are delivered from glass to nose. The palate is supple, with generous fruit, chocolaty-rich mocha, spice and cigar notes. It is slick, fresh, smooth and stylish with a very persistent finish.

Second review, June 17:
Liqueur like in its aromatic profile, this indelible Cabernet offers aromas of plumcake, brown spice, vanilla, cedar chips and lilacs, opulent mocha and licorice. The palate follows suit; succulent, almost jammy with a glycerol weight and deliberate structure and excellent persistence.
So consistent and so delicious.

Classic, divine, succulent.
I cannot say enough about this Sonoma Cabernet, it is wonderfully consistent at showing classic Cabernet character. It lands on my annual TOP 100 list every year.
It dispenses divine aromas of cassis, pencil shavings, mocha, tealeaf, mixed spies, char-grill and juicy red plums. Generous and sweet red and black fruit flavours are layered with cocoa, espresso liqueur an fine spice. It has great bones and bright acidity with a long smooth finish.
Pair: grilled meats, lamb or earthy dishes with lentils or potatoes with wild mushrooms.
