Classic, supple, silky.
I've long been a fan of Sokol-Blosser, I think they balance serious wines with alternate consumer-friendly labels, which make them more approachable.
This Pinot is classic forest floor and earth, which is balanced with fine toasted spices, leather and carob and hints of toffee, with a core of forest berries. It is supple of weight and silky of texture; it starts out fresh and expressive, then grows more muscular on the palate, culminating in a finish of spice, carob and molasses.

Classic, juicy, pretty.
Classic Marlborough, the Villa Maria doles out peachy aromas woven with honey, lime and gooseberry, green apple and spring flowers. It's juicy, has lovely fruit expression and purity. Approachable and seamless this charmer has a zesty mouthwatering finish.
