From the winery that has made quite an impact since arriving on our wine store shelves in late 2006 comes Skillogalee's Cabernet/Malbec Rose. Brilliantly-hued with sweet berry, candied citrus peel and tobacco aromas this "masculine" blend is actually sweetly feminine in character. Sweet-tart berry fruit and warm spice flavours encompass your palate on the entry but then it cleans up with a nicely with a splash of acidity and white pepper on the finish.
Would pair nicely with your berry-laden brunch waffles or Indian fritters with spicy mango salsa.
