The savoury 2007 vintage of the C.A.T.P Cabernet is quite different from the 2006 vintage fruit bomb.
The aromas are dense - dried fruits, black currents and dark earth with savoury, roasted bell pepper aromas spiked with herbs and just a hint of rubber. The palate features spiced bittersweet chocolate and cassis and has fine, mouth-coating tannins.
Would be a good pairing with grilled lamb.
