DeAngelis Rosso Piceno DOC, Marche Italy, 2007
Readers rated this wine:
Cherries and bright red berries, saddle leather and violets, hints of iodine and coffee grounds, sun-baked earth and forest floor with undertones of peppery spices and cedar. Medium-bodied and fresh with loads of tart, juicy red fruit - cherries and small red berries - tobacco and spice with great acidity and fine drying tannins on the finish. Very good value! A blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese. Wine Scores Reviewed - February 6th, 2009
