This Merlot is my favourite red of the recent Blasted Church releases.
Juicy and fresh with gobs of smoked plums, spiced chocolate, vanilla, sweet mint and tobacco aromas. It's supple and lush and shows similar plummy, spice and chocolate flavours on the palate. The finish is long and smooth with mostly integrated tannins and a hint of coffee.
Excellent paired with Camembert!
