SMG is an old-vine blend of one half Shiraz and equal parts of Mourvedre and Grenache that's as bright on the nose as it is juicy in the mouth. Chockablock full of blueberry, mulberry and cranberry aromas with violets, leather and eucalypt undertones. It reveals impressively fresh berry flavours on the entry followed by peppercorns, mocha, licorice and mixed spices. The texture is smooth across the palate - the finish is significant. I would recommend pairing it with a grilled, decadently topped thin crust pizza.
