A second round of this tasty Zinfandel is being released in the next couple of weeks. I missed tasting it on the first release last fall but the time in bottle certainly hasn't hurt.
Coloured an inky ruby-purple the aromas feature glorious mixed briary berries - smoke, chocolate covered blueberries, sage and plummy undertones. On the palate it has ripe, creamy fruit then continues into cherries, tobacco and spice flavours with balanced acidity and supple tannins.
