From the Mistaken Identity's own certified organic, estate vineyard on Salt Spring Island, the Abbondante white is a blend of Madeline Angevine, Madeline Sylvaner, Ortega, Siegerrebe and Reichensteiner (an impressive line-up of hard-to-say [and spell] Germanic varieties)
Appealing aromas of apple and peach, tangerine peel and honeysuckle with hints of musk and spice. The palate is tart, mouth-watering with plenty of citrus, orchard fruits, spice and spring flowers, the finish is snappy with distinct apple-y flavours.
