Made from 100% Pinot Noir this pretty rose has been a food-friendly summer offering at my favourite local Indian restaurant, Vij's, over the past couple of vintages. Typical to Pinot Noir, the aromas are earthy - forest floor and leather with wild berry aromas. There is a lot of structure on the palate with flavours echoing the aromas - berry and leather with cedar box spice flavours that linger. Pair with cedar planked salmon or pasta with creamy morel sauce.
