An interesting wine for food and thought. I prefer the balance of fruit and oak in this 2007 vintage and thought as soon as I tasted it that this would be a good turkey wine. Aromas are waxy honeycomb and white fruit, some melon and sage with undertones of white chocolate, dried flowers and cedar chips. The palate has good power and shows creamy fruit, white chocolate, savoury herbs and spice. A lovely rounded texture with soft acidity and lingering spices.
