We all like change right?
Okay maybe some of you don't but have you ever tasted Durif? Well you may have if you have tasted a California Petit Syrah. Some research suggests that Durif is not actually Petit Syrah but that doesn't prevent the labelling or the similarities I find in flavours.
This is a lovely wine with juicy blueberry and bramble/briary aromas with dark floral notes. Sweet, juicy fruit on the palate with cocoa and tight tannins on the finish.
