Briary berries, earth and plummy aromas, leather and minty notes. Fresh on the palate with intense cherry/berry flavours, roasted coffee beans, leather, spices and vanilla flavours with hints of char, oak and herbs. Balanced acidity, smooth textured but with a chewy edge and a lingering spiced finish.

Having been recently released this Meritage is showing remarkably well. Most likely due to Sumac Ridge's commitment to consistancy as well as vine age and quality of the Black Sage Vineyard.
Ripe berry and sweet cherry with smoke, vanilla and earthy hints. Spiced and smooth with a long warm finish. Well made.
15%Cabernet, 77% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc.
