St Hallett 'Poacher's Blend', Barossa Valley 2007
Readers rated this wine:
Crisp aromas - citrus, grass clippings, apricot nectar and tropical hints. Tart citrus flavours - it's zesty with crisp white fruit flavours and will pair well with seafood or a fresh greens and goat cheese salad on the patio!

A blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and a dash of Riesling this is such an awesome value white - crisp and fruity - perfect for sipping or with seafood or summer salads. The name is derived from a funny story of Stuart Blackwell deciding to harvest a vineyard (poach the grapes) after the owner of it disappeared after reneging on a bill.
Lovely greenish glints with aromas of citrus and minerals with hints of grass clippings and tropical fruits. The Riesling pops on the palate - lemon/lime and peaches with more citrus flavours. The texture has a pleasing roundness and is mouth-watering and super fresh.
