A tasty Chardonnay that shows balanced flavours from a combination of 7 months sur lie in new and used French oak barrels.
The aromas are fresh, juicy and ripe - melon and roasted pears with orange peel and floral hints but it's the spiced butter notes that really pop. The oak contact is obvious but not overwhelming, the palate is creamy and yet fresh and spice lingers on the finish.
