Like a financial "blind trust", the executors - in this case Laughing Stock and their winemaker - have full control over over the blend and could simply say - it's a proprietary blend which we have no need to disclose. But they do. Pinot Gris takes 65% majority with a solid 18% Viognier, 13% Pinot Blanc and just a dash of Sauvignon Blanc.
An aromatic wine with primary tropical fruit followed by beeswax and toasted oak, spiced butter, melon and honey. Rounded, quite creamy on the entry and mid-palate with flavours of spiced caramel and citrus peel, with a crisp finish
Very tasty.
